Future pharmacists are getting a taste of life in the real world with hands-on experience using the FLAVORx Flavoring System. Because so many pharmacies now provide the prescription flavoring service to improve medication adherence, today's pharmacy students, entering the field with a chain or independent pharmacy, will be asked to flavor medications. Recognizing this, FLAVORx is providing complete flavoring systems, comprehensive coursework and a flavoring lab at no cost to Colleges of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Schools.

Medco's Advanced Pharmacy Adds 162 New Jobs for Total of 1,400
Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MHS), joined by Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, announced that its automated pharmacy being built at AllPoints at Anson will house the Medco Therapeutic Resource Center(R) (TRC) for oncology patients - adding an additional 162 professional pharmacy positions to the area. This expansion will bring the total number of pharmacy jobs, including pharmacists, researchers, pharmacy technicians, engineering technologists, and administrative positions, to more than 1,400.
